About this honesty box
Kinlochmoidart is a small community with less than 15 homes being lived in full time. A majority of those households help to contribute produce to the shed on a weekly basis. The shed is restocked daily throughout the summer season with a variety of different produce. No two days are the same! You can expect to find.. Eggs, Coffee, Locally Grown Flowers, Vegetables, Sourdough Bread, Home Baking, Local Crafts, Preserves and whatever else our community is producing at that time!

Absolutely brilliant! Such an inspiring range of goodies and we were so grateful for being able to pay via the QR code. Bought a big tub of freshly picked chanterelle mushrooms for a risotto dinner, plus the light and delicious coconut and lime loaf cake. Also thrilled to find a couple of great second hand books for free. I’m now seeking out the network of honesty boxes and inspired to try my own arty one at home! Big thanks 🤩
Visited the Moidart Honesty Box late afternoon and it had just been restocked with a lovely mix of sweet treats — brownies and flapjack included. Picked up a loaf of gingerbread, some blackcurrant jam, plus a couple of sweet treats, all well worth the stop. Mobile payment is accepted, though the signal wasn’t on our side, so we were glad to have cash with us. If you ever find it empty, it’s worth checking again on your return — it’s definitely an honesty box to keep visiting and checking.
